SPECS : Marteau – acier outil S7, couleur naturelle, revêtement Teflon-Nickel.

Nothing to Write Home About(02/07/2010)
This trigger is difficult to install. There are two tiny allen head lock screws that must be manuvered into place next to the hammer springs. Very hard to do without three hands. Performance is only so-so after installation. No take up or slop but it seems to be set at about 8 pounds. Better than the stock trigger to be sure but not worth the money. Timney usually does a better job on their triggers.
AR-.308 Trigger Module, Solid Shoe(19/07/2010)
Installed mine quite easily. Instructions are adequate but could be improved and Timney has techs available to assist/answer questions. There might be a small amount of creap in mine but if so, I see it as a good thing for this application.
Best thing I have added to my AR Varmint(24/05/2011)
I have built several AR's over the past several years, but always stoned the triggers and added lighter springs to get a better trigger pull. I wanted a 'drop in unit', and having had great results with other "Timmney" Triggers, went with this unit. This trigger is amazing compared to any other trigger I have used in a AR. As for the two screws that had to be installed, I spet maybe a full sixty seconds getting both in and tight. No problem!!
Make em Jealous.(15/09/2011)
I installed this trigger in my SASS build project. Took the rifle to the gon shop because of an unrelated issue. The people at the shop fell in love with the trigger just like I did. In fact one of the gunsmiths had a SASS and the first thing out of his mouth is "man, im jealous of that trigger." Its smooth and exact. Im going to install a Timney in my Remington Woodsmaster if they make one.
Wow, what a difference!(30/12/2011)
I recommend this trigger. The pull is consistent and the break is very clean. If you own a stock DPMS LR-308 with a factory trigger that takes FOREVER to break, you will not be disappointed with this purchase. I installed it myself after I watched a couple of videos as well as going to Timney's website and viewing the installation presentation. On a side note, if you are not mechanically inclined, have a friend install it who is.
GREAT TRIGGER!!! Hard to install(11/01/2012)
I have built many AR's and have done many trigger Jobs for customers and friends, but this trigger is GOLD right out of the box. IT is very difficult to install, not impossible, but not easy by ones self. making sure the trigger pins stay seated as you tighten the two allens can be frustrating but it is well worth it in the end. My trigger feels about 3 pounds at the most.... no creep, exactly what I expect from a [$] trigger.
I want to rate this trigger 10 stars!(02/06/2012)
Unquestionably the best upgrade/modification to my DPMS ar-15! Accuracy much improved from stock trigger. Easy install too. There are two retaining hex screws under the end length of the hammer spring that can be tricky. After studying the trigger & install instructions I took the ends of the hammer spring partially blocking the retainer hex screws & lifted both ends crossing them to the middle over each other. This cleared the area for installing the hex retaining screws. After both hex screws were installed, the hammer spring ends were uncrossed and fell back into their original place. The 4 lbs pull was unchanged by the prying up & crossing of the spring ends. Excellent trigger! Well worth the $$
Excellent!(15/01/2014)
Installed in a Ruger SR762 in minutes, per instructions. Would recommend watching You Tube related video. Went from factory 10.75 lb drag and creep to a crisp 4.0 lb trigger.
Great AR upgrade.(02/01/2015)
Easy install in my Bushmaster. Crisp trigger that took the long, hard, gritty pull out of my AR 10. I will buy another one for my 5.56. Can't wait to see how it performs at the range.
Phoned in.(25/03/2015)
4 lb pull is too heavy, I don't know why Timney made it so heavy. 3lb would have been perfect. They make a good trigger, but I think they have been resting on their laurels.
Nothing Not To Like(23/06/2015)
My first experience with Timney triggers was one I bought for my 10/22. Total drop in, great fit, great trigger. So I got this one for my DPMS style .308 AR build and it is everything I expected. Two triggers purchased, two great feeling triggers; do I detect a pattern?
Iâve purchased stripped AR lowers and built them up. With the last one I purchased a Ni Boron set and that was the best AR trigger Iâd tried. Iâm mentioning this to point out that I *DO* know how to install Mil Spec triggers and know what a good one feels like. Since I wanted a rifle that would be as accurate as possible I decided to actually put some money into this trigger. I could have gone with other manufacturers but while I do know how to install the fire control group I can get a bit lazy from time to time. So I looked into drop in triggers.
I wanted a trigger that was light enough to not impact my accuracy too much (Iâve got enough problems as is) but was heavy enough that I wouldnât worry about safety out in the field. Timneyâs 4 pound trigger seems to fit the bill. I followed the directions and installation was a snap. I saw one review complaining about the pins falling out. I had to laugh as the directions said to put a piece of tape over the pins until installation was complete. Once youâve tightened down the set screws to apply pressure to the pins (the last step) you can remove the tape and the pins are as tight as you could possibly want.
Iâve tried custom worked triggers on other guns at the range (not my guns but ones belonging to someone else) and while they might be a bit lighter I donât think that they break any crisper or have any less creep (i.e. none).
Any time I want an accurate trigger that is easy to install Iâm going to go with Timney for sure.
Crisp - Zero Creep in a DPMS GII Lower(11/01/2016)
No more creep. Light, repeatable release and feels like winding a Swiss watch while depressing the trigger. Trigger total movement is about 1/8"!
Instructions were spot on. Read them through first. One change would be to start the set screws before you drop it in. Just a turn. Too much and the pins won't go back in. After you have the assembly in position it's a bit of a chore to get them started because of the springs. Use grease in the socket to hold the screws to the wrench.
I put this in a new DPMS Gen II lower. Fits like a glove. The GII lower is different than the GI (LR-308) but rest assured it fits perfectly.
The hammer is bigger than the GII OEM hammer. The whole thing is a piece of art. High quality metal and finish.
