Delivers Consistent Length-Of-Pull Regardless Of Finger Placement
Lightweight, aluminum trigger shoe features a flat, serrated face for uniform length-of-pull regardless of index finger placement. Full width, stainless steel bow eliminates flex and is permanently staked to the shoe for added strength, making this trigger a top choice for duty and self defense guns. Stainless steel overtravel stop screw is mounted in the rear of the shoe and requires no staking or threadlocker to keep it in place once it s set, it won t shoot loose.

Excellent part(14/10/2009)
I thought these were quite ugly...until I used one. Now it is a thing of beauty! No matter where your finger falls on the trigger it feels exactly the same. It is not at all uncomfortable like I imagined it might be. The quality of the 10-8 trigger is top notch. The set screw cannot back out so once it is set you can forget about it. Excellent part. If you have never tried a flat trigger I encourage you to give it a shot.
Awesome!(23/01/2010)
I have this trigger on an old Colt GM. For 17 years I had an extra short trigger on it and loved it.
Then on a whim I switched the trigger to the flat 10-8. I was amazed at how quickly I came to appreciate it. Same finger position every time, and feels comfortable even with my "Burger King" hands. I was able to fit this trigger myself with the instructions provided.
Interesting trigger, mixed thoughts.(01/04/2011)
This trigger required quite a lot of fitting. The shoe was very easy to fit, but the bow is oversized. It extends into the back of the frame a bit longer than it should, eliminating needed pretravel. A stoning of the sear legs where they contact the disconnector will give you the correct amount of pretravel. The fixed overtravel stop is a nice feature as well. The look and feel is rather unconventional, but they are certainly worth a try.
Not Bad(20/12/2011)
This trigger is super light, but has a bit of horizontal/vertical movement when installed. I put it in a Para GI expert, and it required no fitting. it just dropped in, with room to spare. Functional for carry but don't use for a competion gun.
Will use again.(26/12/2011)
Minor fitting. Looks good.
My favorite trigger(13/02/2012)
Have used this on 2 different 1911s, just a touch of fitting but is easily done, try one and you'll probably never use another trigger again
Great Trigger(01/09/2012)
Just installed this Trigger into my Sig Target 1911. The installation was easy and required little effort to properly fit (super easy). I really like the way that the flat trigger feels and functions.
Great design...Execution OK(31/12/2012)
This part is designed extremely well and has more trick custom details than any other trigger right out of the box (relief cuts on pad and bow, rock-solid shoe attachment, secure blind overtravel). Unfortunately, due to apparent variance in manufacturing tolerances (bow dimensions), this part required quite a bit of fitting in order to get satisfactory function in a Colt frame (which I arrogantly feel should be the blueprint for all 1911 parts).
Easy to install, good value, effective.(01/11/2013)
I have been looking at this trigger for a very long time. It was purchased to replace the plastic trigger of a RIA 1911A1-FS. After watching Brownells Web-Bench (repeatedly) I got this installed and tested it out at the range, it was incredible. I am highly impressed with the product and as always Brownells got me the part within a few days. It wasn't very difficult to install and I only needed basic tools to get it done. Thanks 10-8 and Brownells!
Worthless(27/02/2016)
Trigger bow WAY too long - Unusable
Recommend(01/07/2016)
Works and feels great. Dropped one in a RIA government, no fitting required. Second one in a RIA officer's model. Worked excellent after slowly filing the overtravel screw. Slowly, did two iterations of assemble/dis to get it right. Now perfect, tremendous feel, highly recommend.
Fantastic(27/06/2017)
The negative reviews on this are clearly from people that have never worked on a 1911 before. This trigger, like all quality 1911 triggers, requires hand fitting. This is not a drop in part... heck you wouldn't want a drop in trigger, this is a 1911 it's supposed to be hand fitted! That means shaving the top and bottom of the trigger with a stone and sandpaper for an hour or so to get things perfect and bending the bow to fit your gun. Once everything is set the trigger is perfect. This is definitely a "long" trigger so keep that in mind if you prefer the shot triggers. Love the way it feels and the aggressive/unique look.
