Provides Short Pre-Travel & Fast Reset
Reduce/Eliminate over-travel Kit with newly designed self-cleaning Rocket trigger connector helps eliminate bothersome pre-travel and REQUIRES adjustment for precise control of over-travel. Trigger connector features a self-cleaning debris channel that reduces accumulation of grit and residue for less friction, longer service life, and improved reliability; Rocket connector REQUIRES fitting. Installation requires no permanent alteration to pistol. Not for self-defense use with 4 lb. firing pin spring. For self-defense use or in a 10mm/.45 caliber Glock®, Ghost recommends the 6 lb. firing pin spring. The 4 lb. firing pin spring may cause light primer strikes in some pistols, and therefore is best used for Target/Sport purposes. Fits all Generations 1-5 Models except Glock® 42/43. Everything in kit will work on Gen 5 with the exception of the trigger spring.

100% Improvement in pull and reset(17/06/2009)
I used this kit to upgrade a G22 RTF and could not be happier. The trigger pull was reduced to a very crisp 3.3# average with a very clean break. More importantly was the reset which was facilitated by the fitting of the connector. Finally, an oversized connector that allows for fine tuning. The only tool required is a file and the only skill necessary is patience. If you apply those you can get one great trigger!!!
This is the best trigger kit ever;period(10/11/2009)
First of all ;i know about of gunsmithing as much as i know of being an astronaut;nothing.Because of the first review i decided on getting this kit, that was the best decision ever. Before doing anything, grab a small file and shave .01 on the connector(see instructions on the paper),then deburr it with a stone and oil, that is going to save you the hassle and frustration i suffered for not reading first, then install first the spring kit(extremely easy)you can get directions on their website or get explainatory videos on the web.The kit gets rid of all the mushiness and sponginess the regular trigger has and also sets your trigger between 3.5 and 4 pounds.Narrowed my grouping a lot and the feel is incredible. If you are going to use these for conceal carry i may suggest not to have one in the chamber.your safety should always come first. You can buy this with your eyes closed.Thank you Brownells ;like always i'm very pleased again.
Good Trigger Kit(11/01/2010)
This is a good deal. It made the trigger pull a lot smoother, lighter, and less let off to reset. The only problem I had was the 4lb. firing pin spring wasn't strong enough to set off the rounds, I had about 35% that failed. Easy fix, I just put the factory spring back in, all other springs worked good.
Very happy(21/01/2010)
Im very happy with this kit. Im young and really dont know too much about gunsmithing and this kit with a lil patience is a breeze. My stock trigger was very heavy for my G23 and afetr installing the ghost my groups instantly changed dramatically for the better. The only concern i had was the light stryker spring thats provided. I didnt know if it would be enough to ignite the cartridge. I have seen a review that said they had some problems with it but for me it has worked flawlessly. I have only tried 3 types of ammo (Winchester FMJ, Federal FMJ, and Gold Dot JHP defense ammo. All 180 grain)and they fired fine. But for a SD weapon u should prob. go wit original spring.(i didnt but as soon as i have 1 light primer strike im switchin back) Trigger feels great and reset is cut in half. Im not quite comfortable yet with carrying 1 in the chamber, so i would reccomend it for self defense but use your own judgement on a chambered round. In my opinion this is the best [$]upgrade a glock can have [...]
Quite a difference!(12/02/2010)
I currently own 3 Glocks (19, 21 and 17L) amoung a large collection. I am a civilian firearms instructor for a variety of military personnel.
I installed the trigger kit on my 19 and the trigger pull dropped from 5.9 to and average of 3.0 pounds...that's lighter than my competition 17L. It took a few times to file the connector and reassemble the weapon but it was worth it. I fired it about 50 times with our standard training ammo and if functioned 100%. It is a very different trigger pull and reset from a standard Glock so practice a bit before relying on it. I will be ordering another kit...
fantastic race trigger(19/04/2010)
I got this for my USPSA race gun; a Glock 34. There are a lot of trigger kits out there, but I wanted something that was proven and had all the parts I wanted.
Installation was fairly easy, however the connector requires a tab to be filed down with a metal file in order to work correctly. The down side is it can be kind of tedious and you may have to remove the firing pin before you can remove the slide. You may need to install the kit a few times before it's finished. The up side is the part is now custom tailored for your gun, and the trigger pull is set the way you like it.
After filing the connector part several times, the trigger travel was where I wanted it. The trigger feel is light, travel is moderately short and the reset is crisp. I installed all the included springs but wasn't sure if the lightened trigger spring would cause light primer strikes and/or misfires. Not to worry. It shot 100/100 at the range the next day.
This kit is a great value and installation is not difficult. The result is a great competition oriented trigger. As a bonus, the Glock takedown tool/punch is included; something you'll use whenever you want to take the gun apart to clean it.
It does make a difference(04/08/2010)
Installed on a Glock 22 used for off duty carry. Patience is the key, Read the online illustrated directions from the Ghost website(mandatory for a smooth and successful installation)). Took about an hour and a half with hand tools (files and stones). Once it worked I fine tuned the mechanism. Since this is an of duty gun I did not install the included striker spring or the trigger safety spring. Product smooths out the trigger and gives it a more precise feel. Once this installation is done familiarization and practice is the key. Never was too keen on the stock Glock trigger but always liked the pistol's reliability and capacity, this small modification really improves the trigger and the entire Glock pistol.
"I would buy this product again"(03/09/2010)
I am a 35 year gunsmith and have done work on many Glocks this is by far the easiest and best trigger upgrade I have come across. This product requires very little fitting to get it to work and you end up with great results. As a LEO I don't recomend putting this in a duty weapon, but for my competition guns I have one in all three know.
It's merely okay....(28/10/2010)
I was not real thrilled to find out that I had to file off "1/32" of metal from the trigger bar. It seems to me that the product should have been finished to begin with. My mistake was that I did not read close enough before I bought it. Now, it does appear to do what it says. I have semi arthritic hands and dropping down to the 3.5 has enabled me to keep from pushing the trigger, and improved accuracy considerably. I think that it does feel a little more spongy than the factory bar, but it does the trick. I would rethink purchasing just due to the hassle of having to finish a process that should be already done. I could have bought a different brand that didn't require me fishing out my dremel and 45 minutes of grind/test, strip, grind/test, strip....etc
Best bang for the buck(27/04/2011)
Have probably done at least 50 trigger kits/jobs to glocks. Used to just use the factory 3.5 connector, then switched to the ghost. MUCH better, but ghost went 1 step further and included the return spring, firing pin spring, AND plunger spring. for the money you CANT beat what this does to your trigger. i WILL say that if you use the lightened firing pin spring, i havent had luck with any primers OTHER than federals, Winchesters, CCI, and Wolff are TOO think and hard to be set off reliably... but for everyday use, use this kit, and just leave the factory firing pin spring in the gun. youll be very happy, Im getting trigger pulls ON a gauge of 3-3.5 and VERY smooth.
MANY HAPPY CUSTOMERS(13/08/2011)
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO GET A GREAT PULL WEIGHT OUT OF THAT GLOCK. MINIMUM FITTING REQUIRED
Luke warm(22/08/2011)
I ended up with a great trigger for what I paid. Thought I'd get less pre-travel, remains almost unaltered; the disconnctor length can only affect the pull so much. The over-travel tab took what I think was an excessive amount of fitting. To top that off I had to start over once the factory slide plate was reinstalled. This is just a 3.5 connector with a an overly long over travel stop. It is far faster and easier to get the lone wolf trigger housing with trigger stop; set a screw and you are done. No file, far fewer false fitments, adjustment goes both ways!
Excellent product(19/02/2012)
This product is as good as the reviews I read about. It took approximately 15 minutes to install. Using my Dremel and caliper to measure how much I was removing the install was very easy.Installed in Glock 34,very nice improvement over the stock setup. While apart cleaned and polished everything. Great product, easy to follow installation, nice improvement....can't ask for more. Now to go reload another 2k to shoot
AWSOME(04/03/2012)
I don't write reviews, but had to with this one. I bought the 5lb Rocket and my groupings are on target now and much tighter. I've always been a little left of target, DEAD ON now. A must for a Glock owner. Did take a 3 attempts of filing to get it perfect, but well worth it!!!
The best made better.(09/05/2012)
As a master gunsmith,I've done my share of trigger work on Glock pistols. This is by far the easiest way to achieve a 3.5lb release with a quicker reset. The last three Rockets I've installed on Glocks I've used the Dave Spaulding cut. Complete instructions on how the cut is made and what is achieved is outlined on the Ghost web sight.
Rocket 3.5 trigger kit for Glock 17 (09/08/2014)
Excellent product, shooting tighter group, comfort, a must for a Glock owner, not to hard after watching gun smith installed 15 min, and cost 20 buck is worth every penny of it, I could do it by myself now, just be patient, I am so happy with it . I would recommend everyone to get them, worth for the money, made in the U.S.A and should be proud of the company....
Don't expect too much(04/07/2015)
This unit is installed in my new Gen 4 G19. Let me start off by saying this Gen 4 had a disappointing trigger to start off with, as compared to my other stock Gen 2 and 3 Glocks. It's gritty, mushy, and had an initial pull weight of 7.5 lb (digital meter, mid-trigger readings). I installed the unit, it took some time as expected, but I enjoyed the process. Results were far below the manufactures claims. The pull was reduced from 7.5lb to 6.2lb (I kept the original stock firing pin spring). The reset distance was reduced. The gritty feel improved, but I had polished all of the contact surfaces. The mushy feel did not improve. I've installed these units in my Gen 2&3 Glocks with excellent results, I don't recommend them for the Gen 4 G19.
I'm no Gunsmith(10/02/2016)
The disassembly tool was helpful - the springs installed easily but the Trigger Bar has a protrusion that MUST be fitted to get it to work - I had to reinstall the original bar to get the rest to work TODAY - I 'may' do the 'fitting' on the bar later but the trigger is smoother and even lighter without it - may not be worth the effort and hassle - it would have been nice if the need for 'smithing' was plainly indicated - still everything else worked. My recommendation MUST be tempered with the NEED for fitting.
