Le SI Enhanced ECN et EEP se distinguent des unités de kits de pièces génériques tant par leur esthétique que par leur fonctionnalité. L'écrou de château en acier a été allongé pour s'adapter à l'extrémité prolongée, soutenant une plus grande surface filetée de l'extension du récepteur et améliorant l'esthétique. L'extrémité prolongée dispose d'un support de sangle à dégagement rapide, reculé loin de la sangle principale. Cela permet des manipulations d'armes dans des espaces restreints et sous pression, sans la douleur soudaine qui peut résulter d'une main pincée lors de l'utilisation d'une sangle attachée à une plaque QD plate standard.

The SI Enhanced ECN and EEP stand out from the generic parts kit units in both aesthetics and function. The steel castle nut has been lengthened to match the extended end plate, supporting more of the receiver extension’s threaded area, and improving aesthetics. The extended end plate features a Quick Detach sling swivel mount, pushed back away from the webbing of the primary hand. This allows weapons manipulations in tight spaces and under stress, without the startling pain that can result from a pinched hand when using a sling attached to a standard, flat QD end plate.
