Delivers A Precise, Comfortable Trigger Pull, Plus Strength & Reliability
High-performance trigger is built for shooters who run their guns hard, yet want a precise, smooth, consistent trigger pull. Solid aluminum shoe gives a comfortable, natural finger position to help prevent uneven pressure that can compromise accuracy. Smooth, curved face with radiused edges won't abrade the finger, and a choice of shoe lengths lets you set a length of pull that concentrates the pull force on the centerline of the trigger. Shoe is permanently staked to a non-flex bow of hardened stainless steel with a mirror-polished surface that eliminates friction with the frame. Fixed, internal overtravel stop lets you set the precise amount of overtravel when you install the trigger, and won’t back out over time. Simply file the tip of the stop until it allows the sear nose to clear the hammer hooks and half-cock notch.
SPECS: Stainless steel bow, aluminum shoe, natural silver or black IonBond DLC finish. Shoe is .25" (6.4mm) wide. Length measured from middle of curve in shoe face to back of bow. 1911 – Short: 2.1" (5.3cm) long. Medium: 2.2" (5.6cm) long. Long: 2.25" (5.7cm) long.

Quality trigger(10/04/2011)
I just completed the fit/install of this part and am very happy with the result. The bow is correctly formed and the disconnecter face was smooth needing no additional stoning. Plenty of material for a match fit.
well made(03/12/2011)
I was looking for something between the long 1911 and the short 1911A1 and this fit the bill. the smooth radius in front, set screw in back I didn`t even have to adjust.
beautiful(28/04/2012)
strong anidized aluminum, less takeup, and adjestable over travel. for me a far better length of pull, and smooth comfortable face, what more could you ask for.
Medium length is just right(23/12/2015)
I love this trigger! I have large hands, but find I shoot best with the medium trigger -- for me, it's noticeably easier to obtain a pull that's straight to the rear, with less sensitivity to trigger finger placement, compared to normal long or short triggers. I also prefer the smooth face, compared to the more common grooved triggers.
This part was a drop-in, with no fitting was required on my 2010 Dan Wesson.
Amazing trigger that can't be beat!(10/03/2010)
I installed this product on a Ed Brown 1911 which already has a amazing trigger installed. But I wanted a solid medium legnth trigger instead of the long 3-hole design. After seeing other solid medium legnth triggers I was attracted to this design because of the completely smooth non serrated face. Also that there is no hole on the face of the trigger for the overtravel screw. Between serrations and the holes on most triggers I tend to get a lot of blisters after extensive and aggressive range sessions. Let me tell you with this trigger I get NO MORE BLISTERS it is perfect!
Fitting isn't tough at all anyone worth his weight in salt can fit this thing without issue. It's just a matter of fitting the trigger face top and bottom to fit in the slot. For the overtravel stop that's fixed in the rear just be patient and file/stone a little at a time if your looking to get it just right.
Awesome!(23/12/2015)
Love it!
Installed on a 2015 Colt XSE, with some fitting required, as should be expected for any 1911 parts. Results were superb, and I am extremely happy with this part.
Even though I have large hands (size 12 flight glove), I find I shoot best with the medium trigger, as I find it easier to obtain a pull that goes straight to the rear, with less concern for getting exactly the right amount of finger on the trigger, compared to normal long or short triggers. Obviously, this may vary depending on your hand size. I also prefer the smooth face, and like the way Harrison beveled the edges, and hid the overtravel screw.
Excellent (04/04/2017)
Installation was a breeze. Replaced the stock (loosely fit) colt trigger. Very happy with the quality. Recommend 100%
Fantastic(05/09/2011)
Installed this trigger in my Springfield mil spec. small amount of stoning on the shoe and it fit perfect. Matches perfect and the smooth face feels great. High quality and highly recommend.
Great Finish(03/07/2012)
Put in my SA RO, really liked the smooth face, easy on my finger and looks great. Minor fitting but what quality part doesn't require a little.
Great trigger!(19/11/2012)
I purchased this to replace the factory short trigger in my Springfield MilSpec. I like the longer trigger and wanted a black finish to match the gun. This trigger did require some fitting but that's good as it allows you to get a tighter fit. That being said, make sure the trigger slot is completely free of all burrs or rough spots. I experienced some finished loss due to a burr so the DLC may not be as tough as claimed (otherwise I'd give it 5 stars). Other than that I couldn't be more happy with this trigger. It feels great and allows the trigger finger to be placed right where it's supposed to be. This trigger in addition to a Wolff sear spring dramatically improved my trigger pull.
Easy to Fit - works like its supposed to(19/04/2013)
I purchased this trigger to go on a Cimarron 1911 (Rock Island) that had the short/serrated trigger. In trying to keep the outward appearance "Mil-Spec" for SASS Wild Bunch looks, I choose this trigger for its smooth face and fixed overtravel screw. Fitting was minimal, about 5-6 light passes over the screw with a file to allow the trigger to trip the sear. I can't say that it improved the trigger pull but the pull is more comfortable for someone with large hands - the Cimarron had a great, clean breaking pull as it was - look forward to trying it out this weekend
Great trigger, easy to fit in Colt 1991(08/06/2013)
I purchased this trigger as a replacement for the plastic trigger that comes standard in Colt 1991 pistols. Had to do some minor fitting on the top and bottom of the trigger itself to fit, but I expected that. Adjusting the overtravel was easy as well, all it takes is an allen wrench and patience.
I'd definitely purchase this trigger again.
Can't wait to shoot it.(19/11/2013)
Just finished fitting trigger to my M1991A1 Colt. Had to do some hand fitting since trigger was to tall to fit through trigger slot. No problem there, some minor filing and it was done.Put the plastic Colt trigger away. Did away with the trigger stop for now. May play with that at a later time. I wanted it simple. Looks great and pulls fine. Now for some test firing. Should shoot like a dream. Also installed a Les Baer steel mainspring housing to replace the plastic Colt housing. That joined the plastic trigger in my parts box.
Great trigger(20/09/2010)
The Harrison line of triggers are great quality and extremely well made. The stainless bows are nice and stiff, and shoes are firmly affixed. Use them in your next build without hesistation.
The only trigger I use(02/11/2011)
I have been using these exclusively since they became available. All of my customers love them.
1911 triggers don't get better than this(31/12/2012)
Bar none, this is the best 1911 trigger I've used. The quality is absolutely top notch.
Perfect Upgrade(18/05/2011)
This was a replacement for a stock long trigger. Pull is crisp and smooth as silk. This is an excellent upgrade for those with smaller hands.
Got one, ordering 2 more(16/12/2013)
Bought it for my Sig 1911 Tac Ops to replace the stock trigger, went in with minimal fitting, looks and feels much better and puts my finger it a better spot. Looked like a good idea so I decided to try it, feels so much better I'm ordering 2 more
short and sweet(15/04/2015)
installed in my Kimber TLE RL.Easy install.Minimal fitting of shoe to frame. Trigger pull is slightly higher, went from 4.5 lbs to 5.2 lbs. very smooth. The smooth face of the trigger is great.
Great trigger(10/12/2015)
Trigger came oversized and took just a few minutes to fit to my Colt 1911 Officers ACP. It is a short trigger and fits my hand perfectly. I can't wait to get out and try it.
Good, but..(11/01/2017)
I find that short trigger pads provide a more controllable trigger pull for me. So I'm replacing all my triggers. So far I used two of these.
On the plus side, they look good and feel good. There's an over-travel adjustment screw, although I didn't have to use it.
On the minus side:
1. the first one came in black, the second bunch came more in graphite/shiny dark gray color. I was going to send them back, but cleaned one with a bit of oil and it became black. Which totally works once you figure that out
2. the triggers should be oversized for a good fit. The first one needed fitting into a 1911 builders' frame, but the second dropped right into a S&W. I would prefer to have fitted it myself
3. the bow is a hair long. The bow shall be flush with the frame in the back, this one comes out just a touch. Either you have to fit it (which isn't supposed to be required) or you have to test it and see that it still works with your sear/disconnect. This is critical for safe operation. Mine seems to work, but there's zero take-up. And I mean zero.
Excellent trigger(28/03/2010)
Excellent quality and finish. Trigger bow is very sturdy and smooth. Rear over travel adjustment screw negates hole on saddle face.
Great Trigger(02/07/2010)
This trigger was a drop-in part into my Springfield Armory G.I. There was zero fitting required on the pad. The set screw is permanently attached in the rear and does riquire filing to adjust travel. The smooth trigger face is very comfortable. This is the best trigger I have.
Just what I wanted(11/01/2011)
I did not like the medium/long three-hole trigger that came with my Springfield loaded model. This trigger was not a drop-in, I had to file it to fit, but I expected that and was happy to do so because I was able to eliminate the slop which was in my old trigger. I polished it to a mirror finish after fitting and it looks great. It fits my short fingers much better now, and I prefer the smooth face to the old serrated face. The overtravel required no fitting, once in the frame everything worked perfectly.
Avoid for Colt(22/02/2018)
Required heavy stoning of the actual trigger to get it to fit in my Colt Rail Gun. The adjust screw was virtually impossible to adjust. There are better products on the market.
