Well Made, but Screw too short. 13/07/2015
Because I didn't want to pay shipping costs and possible repair costs to have a new Ejector installed on my Ruger MK II, I decided to try this for myself. I rec'd it quickly and noticed that in deed, it needed fitting. OK! I ground it down (dremel) to proper shape. Then noticed the screw is much too short! Another reviewer said, get 4-40 size screw (about 2 dollars from Lowes), which I did. I then ground the screw down to an appropriate length. (Screw can not extend through Ejector into the upper-receiver.) So over all, good ejector, and unless manufacturer updates the supplied screw to a longer length, you will need to buy a longer screw. Still glad I did this.

Not an exact fit and screw too short 22/06/2015
I tried to install on a Ruger Mark 2 Competition model. Found that the supplied screw just touches the ejector, so will not screw in. Need at least a 1/4 inch length screw. Also, the mounting hole on the ejector does not line up to the hole on the upper. Will required me to find an appropriate screw and some fitting. Emailed the manufacture, did not reply.

Not a drop in part for a Mark II 22/45 18/05/2015
My Mark II 22/45 needed a new ejector as the original one has become loose and causing frequent malfunctions. I looked at this part thinking it would be convenient as a screw would be easier than dealing a rivet.
The new ejector looks exactly as pictured on the website. Unfortunately it is wider than the factory piece. This means it wouldn't sit flush against the bottom/inside of the upper which is round; preventing the screw from reaching the ejector (more on this later). I had to grind off the base of the ejector to allow it to sit flush against the upper.
Once that was done, I realized the mounting hole on the ejector didn't even line up to the hole on the upper. More grinding on the little tab fixed that. Now that everything looks good to go, I put a little dab of blue Loctite on the provided screw, and figured I was about done.
I reassembled the pistol and manually cycled the pistol to function test and realized the ejector was loose. Took the gun apart and realized the provided screw is too short and only several threads were screwed into the ejector. Just manually cycling the gun easily loosened the screw.
A trip to Home Depot I was able to source a longer stainless steel screw. It seems to cycle fine by hand although I haven't had a chance to actually shoot it and see if the ejection problems have been solved.

Works great in my older MKI Bull barrel 17/10/2011
Had to take my time removing loose rivet on the old ejector but the results were worth it. Ejector fit great and required no modification. I used a 4-40 SS socket head cap screw to install it. I used a non-permanent thread locker product to hold the screw. I also ordered the same manufacturers extractor kit which is as impressive as this part. Both are working well after 500+ rounds.
