These tools are designed to ream flash holes to specific diameters rather than debur. The handloader addresses three issues when using this tool. 1) It enlarges the holes just enough for the die maker's decapping pins to go through without getting stuck. 2) It removes any burrs left in the flash hole during manufacturing. 3) Each flash hole will be exactly the same size ensuring uniform ignition. This three-piece tools have a stainless steel guide that centers the reamer in the primer pocket, a knurled stainless steel handle and either a .0625” or .081” reamer for small or standard flash holes.

REAMING PIN COMES OUT PERMANENTLY(27/09/2014)
I encountered quite a number of WCC and Winchester once-fired brass with so small flashholes that the decapping pin of my resizing die would get caught in them and even get pulled out. To solve that problem, I bought this reamer from Sinclair a few weeks ago. I used it as soon as I opened the package. After reaming the flashholes of only 6 cases (yes, only 6 cases), the reaming pin came out of the body. I tried to loosen the allen screw that held the reaming pin in the body, but even the smallest allen wrench available in hardware stores and reloading stores were too big. Even the Sinclair technician I consulted could not tell me where to find a wrench that would fit the screw. I returned the flashhole reamer, declining Sinclair's offer of a replacement with free shipping. I figured that, if the pin comes off again, I would have the same problem. It may be just that reamer that was poorly constructed, but over the long run, the unavailability of a wrench to fix the problem makes the product worthless. Thus, the 1 star. If there was a 0 star, I would have marked it.
Worked perfectly(15/10/2015)
Received reamer and used it on 250 cases initially without a flaw, worked perfectly. Additionally, it make evident several cases in which the primer pockets were not straight. I checked and my gun screwdriver set had an Allen key that fit perfectly should it ever need to be taken apart.
Not a complete function(25/11/2015)
With un-crimped good brass it works well. The existing flash hole needs to be well centered and pretty close to 0.080 for this to work. It's only designed to remove a few thousandths on already decent flash holes. It does have 4 cutting edges with good cleanout grooves for the small size so its hard to clog it and damage the hole but it still doesn't deburr or taper the inside edge. The deburr tool I use almost does this tools job as well but because it cuts to 0.081 it still has a purpose. I would suggest using this reamer first and deburring second to insure clean uniform flash holes. I have used this reamer and my deburring tool on match grade custom brass of every brand and they both still further refined even the most expensive offerings.
Quality, precision(08/07/2014)
The small decapping pins fit tight in the 6BR Lapua brass flash holes and sometimes pull the pin out of the decapping die. This precision tool opens up the flash hole slightly keeping it square to the primer pocket. This should solve the problem.
