The ridged gripping surface and top/bottom vent holes retain the weapon’s authentic military look, while an internal heat shield of lightweight aluminum protects your hand from barrel heat. Skinny models have standard-issue single-layer heat shield on upper and lower handguard. Skinny M4 model has narrower diameter for operators who prefer a minimal bulk handguard. Great and unbelievable low price 04/07/2018
Never put one on before. Had top rotated a little and didn't notice. Seemed to fit about 95% but after looking at it, a slight 1/16" twist let it lock into place perfectly. Looks great on my Colt 6720 and if you didn't have my 6721 or Lightweight Sporter there beside it, you'd not notice any difference from OEM. Way better than the double heat shield stock unit.

Worth Much More ! 18/06/2018
I have a PSA A4 upper that came with PSA's hand guards which are odd at best. They are oval in shape, not round, and are quite large (fat). I ordered these skinny hand guards, but to be honest I wasn't expecting much due to the low cost. I'm glad I took the chance because they popped on with zero issues or difficulty. They seem quite well made, no squeak/wiggle etc. I plan on ordering another pair to keep on the shelf for a future build.

Tight, solid fit. Seams line up perfectly. Doesn't flex, move or give when handled. I purchased one because I needed it. After that I purchased two more just to replace a couple of cheapy ones I was using. Highly recommend, excellent. I'm going to keep my eye on this brand as I look for other items.

Great product but does not fit Bushmaste 03/11/2015
I noted that one of the reviewers talked bout fitness issue for Bushmaster. But, I still placed order and received the product within only 3 business days. Fast delivery, great quality, beautiful appearance, it does not fit Bushmaster directly on the large end. But, it is not a big deal. I spent only one hour with basic hand tools modifying the lip structure slightly. Then, it fitted in almost perfectly without any noticeable issue. Satisfied completely. I am very handy, but I still believe anybody can get the project done with maybe a little longer time.

Great replacement handguard 05/10/2015
Excellent replacement for oversized, double-heatshield handguards now used on Colt CAR-15s. These are a near perfect match for the original slim handguards that used to come standard on Colt CAR rifles. They are much easier to grip than the larger style. Great quality.

These grips are perfect for people like me that have smaller hands The feel is just right. They come in handy for younger shooters too who feel more comfortable being able to wrap more of their hands around them. They really do give better control. Have them on all of my AR style rifles. Lastly, they go on real easy.
